Abstract

Ekosistem mangrove di Kelurahan Panglima Bulang memiliki fungsi ekologis, sosial, dan ekonomi yang penting, tetapi pemanfaatan kawasan belum sepenuhnya disertai pemahaman mengenai rehabilitasi berbasis kondisi tapak dan penguatan kelembagaan lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman mitra mengenai strategi penguatan produktivitas mangrove melalui rehabilitasi dan bimbingan kelembagaan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 23 Mei 2026 di kawasan mangrove Kelurahan Panglima Bulang, Kota Tanjungpinang, dengan mitra pemilik Rumah Makan Mangrove. Metode yang digunakan berupa sosialisasi langsung kepada mitra melalui empat tahap, yaitu observasi awal, penyusunan pokok informasi, penyampaian penjelasan secara langsung, serta konfirmasi pemahaman dan dokumentasi. Kegiatan tidak berbentuk pertemuan umum, tidak melibatkan peserta, tidak menghadirkan pemateri, dan tidak menggunakan diskusi kelompok terarah. Substansi sosialisasi mencakup fungsi mangrove, prinsip rehabilitasi yang tidak berhenti pada penanaman, hubungan kebersihan kawasan dengan produktivitas ekosistem, serta peran kelembagaan dalam koordinasi, pengawasan, dan keberlanjutan pengelolaan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya penguatan pemahaman awal mitra yang ditandai oleh kemampuan menjelaskan kembali fungsi perlindungan pesisir, keterkaitan mangrove dengan sumber daya perikanan dan usaha lokal, serta kebutuhan pemeliharaan setelah penanaman. Mitra juga dapat mengidentifikasi tindakan kelembagaan sederhana berupa penyampaian pesan konservasi kepada pengunjung, pemantauan kebersihan di sekitar usaha, pencatatan persoalan kawasan, dan komunikasi dengan kelurahan atau kelompok terkait. Temuan tersebut memperlihatkan bahwa sosialisasi langsung berskala terbatas dapat berfungsi sebagai tahap awal pembentukan kesadaran dan orientasi tindakan, terutama ketika informasi ekologis dihubungkan dengan posisi praktis mitra.
