Indonesian Journal Public Management

The inaugural issue of the Indonesian Journal of Public Management (IJPM), Vol. 1 No. 1 (June 2025), published on August 28, 2025, presents a diverse collection of scholarly works that reflect the journal’s mission to advance critical discourse on governance, policy, and organizational innovation in the public sector. This issue features five substantive articles spanning different thematic areas: a study on optimizing production planning in the construction materials industry using the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method; an analysis of maintenance strategies for Kernel Heater machines in the palm oil sector through the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) approach; an empirical investigation from Pakistan examining the effects of corruption control measures and law enforcement on public sector integrity and citizens’ confidence; a case study on the strategic digital transformation of Agradaya, a social enterprise in Indonesian agriculture, highlighting the intersection of technology, sustainability, and farmer empowerment; and an exploration of local government innovation in Tanjungpinang aimed at improving the quality of public health services. Collectively, these contributions underscore IJPM’s role as a platform for interdisciplinary, evidence-based, and solution-oriented research that not only enriches academic debates but also provides practical insights for policymakers, practitioners, and development stakeholders engaged in strengthening governance, enhancing service delivery, and advancing sustainable public management practices in Indonesia and beyond.
